What Yume is

  • The weight A dense lyocell weave with a fluid, heavy drape. The kind of sheet that stays where you put it. Cool in summer, substantial in winter.
  • The feel Silk-smooth from the first night. No breaking in, no stiffening after wash. Lyocell gets softer — every cycle.
  • The system Four pieces. Duvet cover, fitted sheet, two pillowcases. European duvet system: one shake in the morning, bed made.
  • The absence No PFAS. No formaldehyde finishes. No polyester. Nothing to wash out of new bedding because nothing was put in. Tested. Published.
  • The guarantee One fair price, every day. Free returns. No restocking fees. No "final sale." If it's not right, send it back.

What Yume isn't

  • Not the cheapest At $249.95, it's a considered purchase. But premium bedding at half the price of Cozy Earth, with test reports they don't publish.
  • Not wrinkle-free Lyocell creases where you sleep. Some call it lived-in. If you iron your bedding, this will frustrate you.
  • Not for minimalists who want one option Nine colors. Seven sizes. You'll have to choose. If you want "just white, just queen," our Kumo line at $199.95 has that.

Is it worth $50 more than Kumo?

Kumo

Lighter weave, cooler, more casual. The "t-shirt" of bedding.

$199.95

Yume

Denser weave, heavier drape, more structured. The "dress shirt."

$249.95

Both: same lyocell fiber, same PFAS-free testing, same certifications. The $50 buys a denser fabric with more substance, a heavier hand feel, a more luxurious drape.

If you sleep warm and want maximum cooling, Kumo. If you want the weight and drape of a great hotel bed, Yume.

Common questions

Is it worth the extra $50 over Kumo?

If you want a heavier, denser feel — yes. Both use the same lyocell fiber, but Yume's weave is tighter. If you prioritize maximum cooling over drape, Kumo is actually the better choice.

Will it pill?

No. Lyocell doesn't pill. We've washed test sets 200+ times. The fabric gets softer, not worse.

Do you ever run sales?

No. One fair price, every day. We don't inflate a "retail" price to make a discount look good. The price you see is the price.

How does it compare to a good hotel?

Most luxury hotels use high-thread-count cotton sateen. Yume is lyocell — cooler, smoother, and it doesn't trap heat the way sateen does. It's the bed you wish the hotel had.

What if I don't like it?

100-night trial. Free return shipping. Full refund. No restocking fee, no "store credit only," no catch.

What's the difference between your lyocell and bamboo sheets?

Both start from cellulose, but bamboo-viscose uses a more chemical-intensive process and lacks the closed-loop recovery of lyocell. Bamboo sheets are often marketed as "natural" without GOTS or OEKO-TEX certification. Ours are certified.

Yume. The bed you keep.
