KEVIN · AMSTERDAM
The Honesty
Dutch
He reads every label, visits every mill, and believes proof matters more than any promise. If he can’t explain every material inside a product, we don’t sell it.
THE STORY OF YUKI
We thought that third deserved more than a guess.
雪 · YUKI · SNOW — 夢 · YUME · DREAM
Yuki means snow — the quiet of a white morning. Inside the mark is a dream.
Everything that follows is only here to carry you toward it.
CHAPTER ONE
It was past two in the morning in Amsterdam. The hour when the city holds its breath, and the mind refuses to.
He turned the label of his own sheets toward the light. Polyester. An “easy-care finish.” A chemical name he would have needed a degree to pronounce.
He lay back down. He did not sleep. And by the time the light came up over the canals, the question had already become a company.
CHAPTER TWO
They did not meet in a boardroom.
They met on the floor of a textile fair in Japan — a Dutch engineer who trusted nothing he couldn’t verify, a Japanese designer who had spent her life studying the art of less, and an American who had believed every promise the word “premium” ever made, and been let down by all of them.
“Why would anyone believe us?”
Everything YUKI has done since has been an answer to that question.
CHAPTER THREE
YUKI is not a Dutch company, or a Japanese one, or an American one. It lives in the narrow place where all three overlap — and takes the best of each.
KEVIN · AMSTERDAM
Dutch
He reads every label, visits every mill, and believes proof matters more than any promise. If he can’t explain every material inside a product, we don’t sell it.
AIKO · TOKYO
Japanese
She brings the discipline of less — precision, restraint, the belief that how a thing is made is a form of respect for whoever will use it.
GRACE · NEW YORK
American
She understands exactly why people stopped trusting premium brands — and what it takes to earn them back.
Dutch honesty. Japanese craft. American belief. Take away any one, and YUKI stops being YUKI.
CHAPTER FOUR
We have optimized nearly everything. Our food. Our workouts. Our screens. Our cars. We count our steps and our heartbeats. We read every ingredient on every label in the kitchen.
We are not here to shout louder than any of that. We are here to do the opposite.
To rebuild trust in the one room where you are most yourself, and least on guard. That is the real reason YUKI exists. Not to sell you bedding — but to make the bedroom honest again.
CHAPTER FIVE
We spent two years looking for people who cared as much as we did. We found them slowly.
A flax field in Europe, cut and retted by weather and patience. A lyocell spun from responsibly grown eucalyptus. Cotton grown without the chemistry that makes most cotton cheap.
Stonewashed European flax, softened by nothing but time.
CHAPTER SIX
This is the part every other brand asks you to take on faith. We would rather hand you the receipts — and reward you for checking.
GOTS organic cotton, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, European Flax and FSC lyocell — each certificate published with its license number, so you can verify it yourself.
We test for it and publish the results, years before the law will require it. No forever chemicals, and nothing to take on faith.
We tell you exactly what each thing is made of, and exactly where it comes from. Every claim on this page can be checked against a document.
Read them here — and read them on Trustpilot and Google, where we have no say at all.
VOICES
“The first sheets I’ve owned where the label tells you everything. I checked. It held up.”
“It feels like a hotel that finally decided to be honest with you.”
CHAPTER SEVEN
Sleep on it. Truly — for thirty nights. If it isn’t right, send it back. Return shipping is ours, your money is returned, and there is no argument to be had.
CHAPTER EIGHT
We are not trying to be the biggest name in the room. We are trying to be the one still standing in fifty years — still telling you the plain truth about what you are sleeping on.
This is only the first chapter.

Two figures appear in this story as cultural context, attributed and never as a claim about our products: Japan sleeps the shortest of any nation, with 45.5% of working adults under six hours a night (Japan Today); the Netherlands ranks first in the world for sleep quality (Sleep Cycle).
