What makes Asa different

Linen texture, cotton softness

A 90/10 cotton-linen blend gives you the nubby, textured drape of European linen without the scratchy break-in. Soft from night one, interesting forever.

Gets better with age

Linen fibers gain character over time. After a dozen washes, the hand feels lived-in and perfectly relaxed — the way a favorite shirt feels after years.

Breathable year-round

The linen component wicks moisture and releases heat. The cotton component holds just enough warmth. The blend works in every season without swapping sets.

Natural temperature regulation

No synthetic coatings, no phase-change gimmicks. Just natural fibers doing what they've done for thousands of years — keeping your body at a comfortable temperature.

European aesthetic, complete set

Duvet cover, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Sand-toned, relaxed, unhurried. The kind of bed that looks better unmade. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

What you should know

One color

Asa comes in Sand only. We chose the color that best shows the natural texture of the blend. If you want options, look at Kumo or Yume.

It costs more

$294.95 is a higher price point than pure cotton. The linen component is more expensive to source and process. You're paying for a material that improves with time instead of wearing out.

Initial texture is crisp

Out of the box, the linen gives the fabric a slight crispness. After three to five washes, it softens into the relaxed drape the blend is known for. Worth the patience.

It wrinkles — by design

Linen creases. That's the point. The rumpled, relaxed look is the aesthetic. If you want smooth and pressed, this isn't your set.

Is it worth it?

What you give up

Color options. A lower price tag. Crisp, wrinkle-free smoothness.

What you get

Bedding with texture and character. A blend that regulates temperature naturally. A set that gets better every month instead of worse. No PFAS, no synthetics.

Common questions

What does a cotton-linen blend feel like?

Imagine the softness of cotton with a subtle, textured grain from the linen. It has more body and character than plain cotton, but none of the roughness of pure linen. Think: a relaxed linen shirt that's already been broken in.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash warm, tumble dry low. No fabric softener — the linen fibers soften naturally. Each wash relaxes the texture further. The wrinkled look is intentional; ironing is unnecessary.

Will it feel rough at first?

Slightly crisp, not rough. The cotton base keeps it comfortable from the start. After three to five washes, the linen component relaxes into the soft, lived-in drape the blend is known for.

Is this warm enough for winter?

Yes. The cotton-linen blend regulates temperature in both directions — it breathes in summer and retains warmth in winter. It's a year-round set, not a seasonal one.

When should I choose Asa over Kumo or Yume?

Choose Asa if you love the textured, relaxed European linen look but want something softer out of the box. Choose Kumo if cooling is your priority. Choose Yume if you want pure silky smoothness. Asa is the most tactile — it has character you can feel.

Why only Sand?

Sand shows the natural texture of the cotton-linen weave at its best. Dyeing masks the subtle color variation that gives the blend its character. One color, done right.

Questions

A few things to know.

Orders placed before 4pm ship the same business day. Delivery takes 2–4 business days, free on every order. Everything arrives plastic-free — a paper box and a cotton bag.

Sleep on it for 30 nights. If it doesn't sleep cooler and calmer than the plastic you had, send it back — free returns, full refund. Washed bedding included.

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and skip the softener — lyocell softens on its own, wash after wash. Line dry or tumble low. No ironing needed.

A silk-soft fibre spun from FSC-certified eucalyptus in a closed loop that recovers about 99% of its solvent. It wicks roughly 50% more moisture than cotton, so it sleeps cool and dry. OEKO-TEX® 100 certified, plastic-free to the packaging.
